REPUBLIC ACT NO. 659 - AN
ACT AMENDING SECTION FOUR OF COMMONWEALTH ACT NUMBERED FOUR HUNDRED AND
SEVENTY-ONE, DECLARING WITH FULL FORCE AND EFFECT ALL FISHING
ORDINANCES, RULES OR REGULATIONS PROMULGATED BY PROVINCIAL BOARDS,
MUNICIPAL BOARDS OR COUNCILS, OR MUNICIPAL DISTRICT COUNCILS UNLESS
DISAPPROVED IN WRITING BY THE SECRETARY OF AGRICULTURE AND NATURAL
RESOURCES WITHIN THIRTY DAYS |
Section 1.
Section four of Commonwealth Act Numbered Four hundred and seventy-one
is hereby amended to read as follows: "Sec. 4.
Instructions, orders, rules and regulations. � The Secretary of
Agriculture and Natural Resources shall from time to time issued
instructions, orders, rules, and regulations consistent with this Act,
as may be necessary and proper to carry into effect the provisions
thereof and for the conduct of proceedings arising under such
provisions; and all licenses, permits, leases, and contracts issued,
granted, or made herein shall be subject to the same.
"All ordinances, rules and regulations pertaining to fishing or fisheries promulgated or enacted by provincial boards, municipal boards or councils, municipal district councils shall be submitted to the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources for approval and shall have full force and effect unless notice in writing of their disapproval is communicated by the secretary to the board or council concerned within thirty days after submission of the ordinance, rule, or regulation." Sec. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. Approved: June 16, 1951 |
