REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6075 - AN
ACT APPROPRIATING ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS TO DEFRAY THE EXPENSES FOR
THE HOLDING OF THE FIRST WORLD CONVENTION OF THE WORLD ASSOCIATION OF
MILITARY SURGEONS IN QUEZON CITY, IN OR ABOUT MAY, NINETEEN HUNDRED AND
SEVENTY

Section
1. The sum of one hundred thousand pesos is
appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise
appropriated, to defray the expenses for the holding of the First
Congress of the World Association of Military Surgeons in Quezon City,
in or about May, nineteen hundred and seventy, including the
acquisition and installation of modern conference equipment and
facilities, communication and transportation services and essential
conference supplies. All disbursements to be made shall be previously approved by a committed composed of the Auditor General, as chairman, the Secretary of Finance and the Budget Commissioner, as members, or their respective representatives, and all serviceable equipment, supplies, materials and other property acquired hereunder shall be placed thereafter under the custody of the Department of General Services for further future use. The sum herein appropriated shall be made available immediately upon the approval of this Act and be at the disposal of the Philippine Association of Military Surgeons as host organization. Sec. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. Approved: August 4, 1969 |
