PRESIDENTIAL DECREES
PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 630-A -
AMENDING Sec. 3 OF PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 630 ENTITLED "PRESCRIBING
RULES AND REGULATIONS TO GOVERN THE CONDUCT OF THE NATIONAL REFERENDUM
ON FEBRUARY 27, 1975 AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR" DATED JANUARY 4,
1975

WHEREAS,
the funds appropriated under Presidential Decree No. 630 dated January
4, 1975, did not include the compensation for the members of the
referendum committees therein created. NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers in me vested by the Constitution, do hereby order and decree as follows: Section 1. Sec. 3 of Presidential Decree No. 630 is hereby amended to read as follows: "Sec. 3. Appropriations. � The sum of EIGHT MILLION PESOS (P8,000,000.00) is hereby appropriated out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated to be spent under exclusive authority of the Commission on Elections to carry out the provisions of this Decree. "THE ADDITIONAL SUM OF THREE MILLION NINE HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS (P3,900,000.00) IS LIKEWISE APPROPRIATED OUT OF ANY FUNDS IN THE NATIONAL TREASURY NOT OTHERWISE APPROPRIATED FOR THE COMPENSATION OF THE MEMBERS OF THE REFERENDUM COMMITTEES AT THE RATE OF TEN PESOS EACH FOR EVERY DAY OF ACTUAL SERVICE RENDERED." Sec. 2. Effectivity. � This decree shall take effect immediately. DONE in the City of Manila, this 21st day of January, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and seventy-five. |
