REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5643 - AN
ACT CREATING THE MUNICIPALITY OF TUBAJON IN THE PROVINCE OF SURIGAO DEL
NORTE

Section
1. The following territory is separated from the
Municipality of Loreto, Province of Surigao del Norte, and constituted
into a district and independent municipality, to be known as the
Municipality of Tubajon, same province. "The territory starting form the Northwestern coastal shore at Loreto, at Lisub Cove as point "A" following a straight line, Southwest toward Pili (Caracan) Hill at Barrio Mabini as Point "B"; then from Point "B" at Pili Hill following a straight line to Payao Point at Malinao Inlet as Point "C"; then Payao Point following the coast line Southward to Balwarto Point; then to Awing Point, the Municipal Boundary of the Municipality of Loreto, mother municipality of Tubajon, and the Municipality of Albor; then from Awing Point following the coast line Northward to Lisub Cove Point "A" point of the beginning. Said territory comprises the Barrios of San Vicente, Sta. Cruz, Roxas, Mabini, Malinao, Navarro, and Imelda." The seat of government of the new Municipality of Tubajon shall be in the present site of Barrios San Vicente and Santa Cruz. Sec. 2. The first mayor, vice-mayor, and councilors of the new municipality shall be elected in the next general elections for local officials. Sec. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
