REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9776
AN ACT DECLARING AUGUST 10 OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL NONWORKING HOLIDAY IN SAN JOSE CITY, PROVINCE OF NUEVA ECIJA
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. August 10 of every year is hereby declared a special nonworking holiday in the City of San Jose, Province of Nueva Ecija to commemorate its creation as a city.
Sec. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on November 17, 2008 and August 24,2009, respectively.
