| REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8146 - AN ACT
GRANTING PHILIPPINE CITIZENSHIP TO FABIO ENRIQUE BARDALES POSAS. |
| Section
1. Fabio Enrique Bardales Posas is hereby granted
Philippine citizenship with all the rights, duties, privileges and
prerogatives indecent to, and conferred by, Philippine citizenship
under the Constitution and the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
Upon the taking and registration of the following oath of allegiance, the said Fabio Enrique Bardales Posas shall enter into the full enjoyment of the Philippine citizenship as herein provided: "I,____________, do solemnly swear that I renounce absolutely and forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state or sovereignty, and particularly to the government of Honduras which up to this time I am a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution of the Philippines and that I will obey the laws, legal orders and decrees promulgated by the duly constituted authorities of the Republic of the Philippines; and I hereby declare that I recognize the supreme authority of the government of the Republic of the Philippines and will render true faith and allegiance thereto; and that I impose this obligation upon myself voluntarily without mental reservation or purpose of evasion. "So help me God." The oath of allegiance shall be recorded in the Civil Registry of the City of Manila within sixty (60) days from the date of the approval of this Act. Sec. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. (Note: Lapsed into law on August 26, 1995, without the signature of the President, in accordance with Article VI, Sec. 27 (1) of the Constitution.) |
