REPUBLIC ACT NO. 576 - AN ACT APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR THE ARMED FORCES OF THE PHILIPPINES DURING THE PERIOD FROM SEPTEMBER FIRST, NINETEEN HUNDRED AND FIFTY TO JUNE THIRTIETH, NINETEEN HUNDRED AND FIFTY-ONE
Section 1. The following sums, or so much thereof as may be necessary, are appropriated out of any funds in the Philippine Treasury not otherwise appropriated as additional funds for the Armed Forces of the Philippines during the period from September first, nineteen hundred and fifty to June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and fifty-one:

6a. For additional subsistence of troops
assigned in active field operations at
P1 per day: Provided, That no portion
of this appropriation shall be transferred

5. Hazardous duty pay in accordance with

8. Additional pay forr specialists 78,300.00

9. Reenlistment bonus 9,860.00

10. Clothing allowance of enlisted men 99,300.00

11. Rental and commutation of quarters of
enlisted men 70,500.00

12. Extra premium on insurance policies of
officers and enlisted men provided under
section 24, Commonwealth Act No. 186 2,380.00

13. Subsistence of able-bodied enlisted men 166,800.00

14. Commutation of subsistence allowance of
able-bodied officers at P1 each per day 44,800.00

15. Subsistence of officers and enlisted men
patients confined in Army Hospitals at P2

16. Maintenance, operation, upkeep and
rentals of ACWS units, stations, and building 10,000.00

17. Transportation of military personnel transferred
from one base to another and per diems and
sundry expenses of personnel on official mission
pursuant to military orders 30,000.00

21. Ordinance equipment including maintenance

25. Maintenance and repair of PAF equipment,
facilities and installations 200,000.00

26. Supplies, maintenance and repair of ACWS
equipment 30,000,00

27. Weather equipment including maintenance and
repair 8,000.00

28. Photographic equipment including maintenance
and repair 10,000.00

29. Air corps supplies 535,000.00

30. Engineer supplies 30,000.00

31. Medical supplies 4,000.00

32. Ordinance supplies 12,000.00

33. Quartermaster supplies 32,000.00

34. Signal supplies 14,000.00

35. Weather supplies 2,000.00

36. Photographic supplies 10,000.00

37. Postal, telegraph, telephone, cable and
radio service 2,000.00

38. For intelligence and counter-intelligence
work, miscellaneous, incidental and contingent
expenses of the PAF, and compensation to
owners of private properties damaged by
troops during aerial maneuvers, practice
march or any other lawful activity incidental
to the military service 25,000.00

14. Additional subsistence of officers on sea

16. Additional subsistence of enlisted men
on sea duty at P1 daily 4,260.00

17. Maintenance, operation and rentals
of stations, base, hospitals and buildings 88,330.00

19. Burial expenses for military personnel 5,000.00

personnel transferred from one station

37. Printing and binding of reports and publications 10,000.00

38. Postal, telegraph, telephone, cable and
radio service 3,000.00

39. Miscellaneous services 10,000.00

40. Illumination and power service 20,000.00

41. Clothing allowance for enlisted men 224,360.00

42. For construction of marine slipway for
Cavite Base and other repair facilities in
connection with repairs of vessels: Provided,
That no portion of this appropriation shall be
transferred to any other item 1,000,000.00

43. For intelligence and counter-intelligence
work, miscellaneous, incidental and
contingent expenses including representation
expenses of the Commander, Philippine Naval
Patrol and payment to owners of private
property damaged due to operations 19,700.00

VI. � SPECIAL PROVISION

1. No appropriation in this Act shall be transferred from one command to another.

Sec. 2. This Act shall take effect on September 1, 1950.
