ACT TO AMEND SECTION ONE OF REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED SEVENTY |
Section
1. Section one of Republic Act Numbered Seventy is
amended to read as follows: "Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any vessel of Philippine register, engaged in coastwise trade, with a carrying capacity of one hundred fifty or more passengers and regularly making voyages lasting more than twenty-four hours without touching port, to sail or attempt to sail from any port of the Philippines unless it has in its complement a physician, or a male nurse if carrying less than one hundred fifty passengers and none if carrying less than seventy-five passengers." Sec. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. Approved: June 9, 1948 |
