REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3223 - AN ACT
AUTHORIZING THE MANILA CHRONICLE TO SELL, TRANSFER OR ASSIGN IN FAVOR
OF THE CHRONICLE BROADCASTING NETWORK ITS RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES
ACQUIRED UNDER REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED THIRTEEN HUNDRED AND FORTY-THREE

Section 1.
The Manila Chronicle is hereby authorized and
empowered to sell, transfer, or assign all the rights and privileges
acquired by it under Republic Act Numbered Thirteen hundred and
forty-three, entitled "An Act granting the Manila Chronicle a permit to
construct, maintain and operate radio broadcasting stations and
stations for television in the Philippines," in favor of the Chronicle
Broadcasting Network, a corporation duly registered under the
laws of the Philippines. The said vendee, transferee, or assignee shall
be subject to all the conditions, terms, restrictions and limitations
of the said permit as fully and completely and to the same extent as if
the said permit had been originally granted to the said vendee,
transferee or assignee. Sec. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. Approved: June 17, 1961 |
